I have been sewing since about 6th grade. We made a lot of our own clothes in high school. Quilting I made the first one when I got married out of red and white polyester about 30 years ago. That one still looks good, don't think it will ever wear out. But this type of quilting really started 5 years ago for our folks 50 anniversay. Along with the rest of the family we made a picture quilt.
