Very nice sharp images. I took this one in my garden last summer. It was a beautiful morning.

Looks like a honeysuckle to me.

Beautiful! I put on a new wallpaper on the computer at work each week. I'm using the butterfly! It's wonderful work. Sara

The Flower is a Columbine. I have several of them in different colors in my gardens...they produce lots of blooms and last most of the summer. :)

I've heard of Columbine but have never seen one... I'll bet they are alot bigger than a honeysuckle flower...but they resemble them alot! LOL We have honeysuckle growing everywhere up here... my hubby says they used to eat them when they were little kids!

YES, As a child I and my brothers and sisters ate them to. They where sweet.

Columbine and lilacs are both wonderful! We used to eat clover - just nibbling the nectar out. That was sweet tasting, too.

ya'll are making me hungry for spring!!!

These are great pictures. I have columbine, too, and it reminds me of my grandmother, for she had it all over her garden, too. She had a deep purple which I finally found for my garden.
The butterfly pictures were grand and I like the way you captured the drop of rain falling from the hosta leaf.

Lovely pics! You should try making a quilted wall hanging out of one of them!
