Here is a green and white Yellow Brick Road. I made this for my step-grandson a few years ago.

This is a Weathervane quilt made completely with Cancer Prints:

This is a Bottle Quilt I'm working on for my grandson:

They are all great, but the weathervane is my favorite. Am I the only one who notices the abundance of weiner dogs among quilters?

sharon b 03-18-2009 05:53 PM

Great Quilts ! Couldn't pick out a favorite

Great quilts. Your little friend is cute.

Chele 03-18-2009 05:57 PM

Another weiner dog! Your quilts are beautiful, but why do quilters love the silly dachshunds?!!

Sharon M 03-18-2009 06:07 PM

Love all 3 quilts and have done the yellow brick road one myself however my favorite would be the
Weathervane quilt very pretty. Your grandson is going to love that jar quilt, they contain all things a little boy is interested in. Great job

MollieSue 03-18-2009 06:22 PM

RedGarnet222 03-18-2009 06:54 PM

Oh those are all very nice quilts LaurieE! I love the jars one, it looks just like what a little boy would collect in them.

littlehud 03-18-2009 07:03 PM

Very nice quilts. I really liked the green and this is surprising because I usually don't like green. Good job.

Kyiav10 03-18-2009 07:05 PM

Some great work, I like them all :D

LaurieE 03-19-2009 04:13 AM

He's a male and his name is Spice. He's my judge. There have been some quilts and afghans I've made that he wasn't interested in.

Because they love to snuggle with us under our quilts.

Debbie1 03-19-2009 08:16 AM

Love the quilts and the dog!

k3n 03-19-2009 08:28 AM

I love them all - the first two are so fresh and bright and the bottles are a cool way to show all those great novelty fabrics!

SewSew2 03-20-2009 02:37 AM

Beautiful on all three....what I like best is your sweet baby that is laying on the quilt. There is a look as to say " is this OK" ?

Quilt4u 03-20-2009 05:05 AM

Love all of your quilts. And love your quilt watcher too.

beachlady 03-20-2009 06:28 AM

Love them all.

Joan 03-20-2009 08:57 AM

Love them all but am pulled toward the
jar quilt. The individual jars and particularly
their contents are just so intriguing.

(adding another "must make" to my list)

LaurieE 03-20-2009 09:29 AM

Thank you. I just love the bottle quilts. I saw one where the jar looks like one of those small roundish mason jars with the calico on the lid but I don't have the pattern for it. I'll have to draft up the pattern if I can't find it.

quilterj 03-22-2009 09:24 AM

nice quilts.

sewjoyce 03-22-2009 01:54 PM

Great job on all of them!!!

Carol W 03-24-2009 05:04 PM

Very nice quils.

Carol W 03-24-2009 05:04 PM

I must be tired tonight. I can't type.

Very nice quilts.

Shemjo 03-24-2009 06:01 PM

Nice. Lovely quilts!

Rhonda 03-24-2009 06:57 PM

My favorite is the weather vane mostly because I favor tradional patterns. But the yellow green brick road is terrific and eye catching as well. I had never seen the jar quilt before. It is something I think any little boy will enjoy looking at what is in each jar!

You've done a great job on them!
