The second one is a snail trail take a detour. I used wee woodland and Bella solid jelly rolls. It was an all nighter class. The third one is called spider web (I think) and I used 3 Hello Betty honey buns. It called for jelly rolls and you use 3 strips but I used a honey bun with 5 stripes. So it would be about the same size. I put them into strip sets and then used a 60 degrees angled ruler and cut them out and then connected the 3 wedges so its a half hexagon then sewed rows and had to work on two rows at a time so other half of hexagon would line up. It was fun just very tedious with sewing all the strips. Thanks for all the nice comments.. let me know if there are any other questions.... |

I like #2. What is the name of that pattern?

Did "Snails Tail takes a detour" come out of a book, or is it a pattern that one can purchase.
thanks. Sheila |
They are all very nice, but i really like the 3rd one. Pattern or strip cut?

Just to let you know I found the Snail Trail pattern in a book (which amazingly, I have) called Scrap-Basket Surprises by Kim Brackett.
Thanks to everyone for their help. |
