Haven't had much time to quilt lately, here are a few WIP's I've been working on. The log cabin is one of the very first blocks I made. I think I used 3 different sewing machines in making them, so all the blocks were different sizes. I found blocks that were very close in size and made the wallhanging. Still have a bunch left over. The rooster quilt was a kit, pattern and fabric. I just added some fabric for the outside border. And the celtic cross is a 5 year anniversary gift for my brother and SIL. Thanks for looking!

Thanks everybody for the nice comments! I definitely will post a pic of the celtic cross when done. I'm getting there, I'm half done with the black bias. I think I can say most certainly say that I won't be making another. Waaaay to time consuming.

Very nice quilts. Liked the Celtic cross. The log cabin is very pretty. And what house would be complete without a rooster. Great job.

All your quilts are great. I have had that rooster pattern for years, now that I have seen yours, I need to get one done for me.
|
Very cute, reminds me of the picture I made for my daughter. We had saved a picture of a rooster she drew in the 3rd grade. (about 37 years ago) I reproduced it from fabric and made a picture for her kitchen. It came out looking exactly like her picture. I put the original picture on the back of the picture in an envelope.
