Thank you Terri - want to quilt it for me?

rein 05-26-2008 05:41 PM

Beachlady - they are great! Love the wheel and the fish in particular - the Advent Calendar is way cute though - and I should likely think about something like that for our 2 youngest grands??????

A girl can always dream!
I have lots of dreams......ask Karla! I'm trying to figure out how to wiggle my nose and get Rosie from her and get Vic or Patwork from Kay. lol

Beautiful Quilts! Love them all :D :D :D

beachlady 05-27-2008 03:37 AM

Terri, if I can come visit in Guam, maybe we can make a deal.
Can you imagine how much it would cost you to travel with a miniature horse - you have said how expensive it is to take your cats. Might want to think that one over a bit more!! When you get back to the states, I will help you "steal" one.

Thanks Rein and Amma.

Chele 05-27-2008 04:26 AM

Those are all beautiful! I had no idea horse thieves were so talented! :D

Anyone that wants to venture here for a visit is welcomed to stay at my house. Heck, I'll even let you have a bed partner too! Free of charge! They snore too! lol
I've got hubby leaned past the 50% mark on a mini, but if that were to happen, it won't happen until he retires and we have a nice house with some land. I do tho, know people who have horses and take them where ever they go. Granted, they don't get orders overseas, but that's gotta be expensive, toting those big things around. At least a mini you can sneak into a hotel room. lol

Bevanger 05-27-2008 06:15 AM

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I'm jealous. They are all just gorgeous.

mgshaw 05-27-2008 06:53 AM

They are Beautiful Beachlady, all of them, but I am kind of partial to those logcabins!!! I dont know that I have ever seen one in the carpenters wheel pattern. Its awesome

sandpat 05-28-2008 04:45 AM

Those are great beachlady! I really like the log cabin carpenters wheel..I haven't tried a regular carpenters's yet...let alone a log cabin one...are you sure that was your 1st quilt??

Terri...be careful...they shoot horse rustlers around here  I'm waiting for the "teacup" horse to be invented...you know...like the poodle? Those things are smaller than my cats!

FancyFoot 05-28-2008 01:15 PM

AWESOME Carpenters Wheel

Celeste 05-28-2008 01:30 PM

Wonderful quilts!

beachlady 05-28-2008 02:00 PM

Thank you all. Yes, Sandpat, the Carpenter's Wheel is my first quilt from a class I took to learn to quilt. I only wish it was finished. I was working full time when I took the class and I would stay up until 3am sewing and drag myself to work. It was fun.

Gale Leone 05-29-2008 03:18 AM

The imagination of a quilter is limitless, beautiful and awesome!!!

These are very nice and what an imagination you have ! Great quilts !

Pam Pollock 05-29-2008 09:29 AM

Very nice!! The advent calendar is very cute & love your carpenters wheel too. The fishy one is colorful. Are you planning on giving it to someone in particular??

beachlady 05-29-2008 09:55 AM

Pam, if they ever get "done" I may give them away - advent calendar is for a grandson, fishy beach blanket is for us and our beach. Have 5 grandsons, so VW one will go to one of them. The Log Cabin is the only one i actually had a pattern for, because it was a class.

sewnsewer2 05-29-2008 04:09 PM

Beautiful! I love the colors.

judee0624 05-29-2008 04:19 PM

Hi Beachlady,
I hope you're feeling better soon too! That can put a crimp in your lifestyle (& quilting time) when you're not feeling well. I'll put you on my prayer list too.
