Great Piccies - love the kids ones especially Elle!!

Terri - YOU ARE SO RIGHT - the med is freeezing....I won't go in either only for a paddle and thats during high summer :shock: :shock: :shock:

I am a big softy though and been spoilt like you, can't beat swimming in warm waters :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thanks for sharing the photos. Sooo colorful and festive. Spain really looks lovely in all the picutres I have seen of it so far. I can understand why you would like to settle there for a better life. Looks very peaceful and relaxing.

That's what's so wonderful about this board! We come from all over the world, but we all have a love of quilting in common. I think it's so great that we can share stuff like thiis! Thanks for the photos--looks like it was a fun day!

They have many different types of fiestas here. Each village has its own fiesta. Sometimes its to do with the grape harvest or the Nispero fruit.

Just before Christmas we have Migas. Now that is something else, our small village of around 11,500 people has bus loads in and last year we had 30,000 visitors for that one day. Mind you everything is free and the wine is wonderful.

Yes and its free... Marsala, real heady stuff and sweet. Free food, but its called Migas, not sure if you would like that, traditional peasants breakfast, made from couscous, jamon, and anything that happens to be around, made in huge paella pans outside on a fire, usually about 3 men to each pan stirring it, really huge pans, about 3 ft round. Best that lottery comes up tomorrow
