You did a fantastic job and I, too, like the fabrics you chose. Welcome to the QB, you're gonna love it here. After your quilting project, you seem to have mastered the next difficult task...posting a photo! Glad you did.

What a beautiful little quilt. Glad you have joined the quilting obsession. It has taken me away from painting, I am an artist of over 50 years, but have become an avid quilter in the last 3-4 years.

Your quilt is lovely. Can't wait to see more. Welcome to the best place to learn about the best hobby.
This is really pretty, nice pattern.

Beautiful table topper. Welcome to the QB.
Terrific job. Love the pattern and the fabrics too. They look like Civil War or Reproduction. Keep at it and you'll be making a bed quilt before you know it :-)
I love the colors, pattern and quilting! You did a great job!
Nice quilt and fabric color choice.

Welcome aboard, Katrina! You did a wonderful job on the table topper! I think it's remarkable since you haven't been sewing all that long. And quilting is another step, too! Great job, great colors!
Absolutely beautiful!
Welcome to the board. Great job on your 5th quilt. Love the pattern and the colors you used.
Hi & Welcome. I have a hard time believing you're a beginner! This is beautiful. Love the colors and the pattern. Your seams match up beautifully.
Welcome to the board! You're doing well. Don't worry about exact matching! I gave that up after looking sort of closely at quilts in magazines. It was amazing to find that many of them have corners/points that don't match. If those quilts don't have to be exact, then ours don't, either!

Welcome from Colorado! Your quilt is lovely.
Welcome from Pa. Your quilt is beautiful in every way possible.

I think you will make large quilts. It happens easily, you are doing a topper and you think "hmm think I will do this block around it" then before you know it its bed size!! Love your work.

I've been visiting the QB since I took up quilting (and learned to sew, really) in February of this year, but I've just now gotten myself together enough to register and to make my first post.
I just finished my 5th quilted project, a table-topper for my mom. All my projects so far have been small -- 3 table-toppers/runners and 2 throws (one for each of my kids). I'm not sure I'll ever have the confidence and/or motivation to tackle a bed-sized quilt, but for now, I'm happy working on small items as I teach myself how to quilt. This table-topper is roughly 32 inches square (well...square-ish), and made with fabric from the Katie's Cupboard collection. The pattern is the mini version of Reveille from the book, Another Bite of Schnibbles. I struggle with lining up points and with the actual quilting, but am still pleased with the overall results as I am not very crafty in general. Quilting is turning out to be a very enjoyable hobby for me, good for stress relief, and for keeping me from too much snacking. ;) Thank you for looking! -Katrina |

I love your table top! Love your color choices, great job!
Very nice job! I love your color selection, and the quilting doesn't distract from the overall pattern, but enhances it. Keep going, and show us some more of your work!

Welcome to the board. It's very pretty and will compliment any table; great fall colors.
