Perhaps you might want to look at some stencils in the stores to see what you think might look nice and then talk to the longarm quilter.

wow.. so pretty.. is this New York Beauty done in the paper pieced way? I have yet to do one, but did find a paper pieced pattern .. i am hoping to do one at some point.. Your beautiful colors just inspired me to keep forging ahead in my desire to go to " New York "... great job!
