Stunning!

Beautiful, so bright and cheery!!!

Wow...fantastic!!!!!

Beautiful quilt! If you are willing to spend some bucks on the quilting, I would ask her to quilt the background of the points with a small filler (pebbles, McTavishing) using a thread that matches the color of the fabric she is quilting on - this would make the points faux trapunto and really show off. I would ask her to repeat that same design in the inner circles of you NY Beauty and do another small filler on the solid bands between the points and the inner circles...again using thread that matches the material. In the blue background between all the circles I would put curved crosshatching.
Oh to heck with the budget, I'd just send it to Karen McTavish and ask her to work her magic!!! |
Gorgeous!Nice job

wow! Thank you all sooo very much! I love all of the kind words and am so grateful you like it.
Thank you for all of your brilliant ideas on the quilting as I really wanted to have some input on it and go over ideas with my longarmer. I hope to have it done by next July in time for the show so there will be plenty of time for her to complete it. Now, onto the next project which I've already started, an OBW, wish me luck! You all are so very kind :-D |
