Finally did a Samatha Walker boot pincushion!

OK I finally got up the courage to attempt this pattern. It did look a bit intimidating to me, but it was not as hard as I was afraid it was going to be. I am excited, I just joined the pin cushion swap and plan to use this one as one of the pin cushions for someone. However, i was thinking it was smaller for some reason, it is a very large pin cushion. Well anyways here are pictures.......... You can find the pattern and tute here: http://www.rileyblakedesigns.com/cut...t-pin-cushion/ I did not put the vanilla bean in it due to not knowing if my partner likes vanilla.

Mighty cute!

that is adorable!!!
very cute. I'm in the swap maybe it will be mine.
It is wonderful. Congrats for even attempting it. Bet you're glad you did.
It looks like a real cowboy boot size, Some one needs to have a lot of pins, to fill that size up. It looks like a lot of work, but it turned out wonderful.
Awesome pin cushion!
Great lands oh mighty! That is huge! And oh so darling. I bet someone is going to be thrilled to get it in the swap. Wouldn't this make a cute accent in a country home.
Very cute boot. I am sure the recipient will love it.
I like it! Someone else will get a "kick" out of it too,
nicely done. do you think it would be too difficult to make smaller version?
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE where can I get the pattern???????????? I am in love at 1st sight!
I love this. My daughter is boot crazy so I will be hunting this pattern down straight away! Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you sooooo much everyone for your kind words! I am glad I did it finally. I don't know about getting it much smaller because some of the areas are tight to get together, but I think I am going to try and shrink it down and see how that works. I did post the link to the pattern and the tutorial in my first post, but here it is again for anyone who wants to make one too!

OK I shrunk the pattern 67% or whatever that means on my copier LOL... anyways the second go around even though it was smaller was actually a bit easier to make, I think the more you do the easier it gets sort of. Here is the smaller version next to the first one with the soda can for size reference.
