Finally finished the quilt I made with my daughter's preschool class, with only days before the school session ends! The kids each did a handprint, and then I made a wonky block out of each one. Hard to tell in this pic, but the border/sashing fabric is hugely cute, and says things like "make life sweet" "make life fun" "make life silly", etc. The back has handprints of the teachers and parents who helped.

I always love these handprint quilts. Time is so fleeting and these quilts become much more precious as time goes by. Thanks for sharing, it's way cute!

Now that is cute.

what a great quilt. It's beautiful. Who is it for?
I did one with my oldest daughter's 1st grade class. That was wild. We had the kids sewing the blocks with several mom's helping. They actually turned out great, a little crooked (we did pinwheels) then I took it home, sewed the blocks together and sandwiched it, quilted it and gave it to the teacher for her first child's birth. It was a sweet present from the class to their teacher. |
Awww! So cute! Very nice idea. Is it for their teacher?
