Took me a couple of months but finally finished this one! The quality of colors in the pic aren't the greatest, tried different angles, but it must be my camera.

Thats ok Miranda, I'm happy to say FINISH with this one. Now I don't feel guilty moving on to the next project. Plus I can happily go on my vacation knowing that I don't have it waiting for me when I get back!!!

Nice, all that sashing is amazing; was it hard to get the blocks all squared up?

triciasquilts 08-21-2007 07:42 AM

Steve, It actually wasn't hard to get squared up. When you break it down, it was done in 6 different sections and then put together.

amma 08-21-2007 11:55 AM

Beautiful :) I love the way the sashing is offset and it makes your blocks pop! :D :D

vicki reno 08-21-2007 12:35 PM

It would take me 100 years to decide on the colors! I have a terrrible time picking out the fabrics :-) But yours is wonderful. Really looks nice :!:

SandraJennings 08-21-2007 12:51 PM

Great! I always love how colors are offset by black. It just makes them sparkle. :D

lin 08-21-2007 01:45 PM

I love it! The way you placed the fabrics really keeps the eye moving. Very nice work!!

Minda 08-21-2007 05:04 PM

Tricia, It's lovely. I would like to do a quilt like that. Is it from a pattern or your own design?

Yvonne 08-21-2007 05:23 PM

Tricia,
I really really like your quilt. It is so simple but yet I can see all of the work and time you've put into this. The fabric choices and color and on and on. You do good work! :D

BDor 08-21-2007 05:31 PM

Beautiful!!!! Love your colors.

Now you're going to make me crazy trying to figure out that placement - no matter which way I look at it, I can't find all 6. Kinda like Where's Waldo.

I have a roll of black binding and really will get to use it one day.

Country Quilter 08-22-2007 01:01 AM

I'm glad somebody else admitted that! It was driving me nuts too! LOL I can't see the 6 sections either.

Rebecca Chambley 08-22-2007 01:16 AM

BEAUTIFUL......

triciasquilts 08-23-2007 11:58 AM

Its really hard to point out the sections in the picture without being there to show you. Its going to market this weekend to see if I can sell it. I plan on making another with all batiks and hand dyes. I might keep that one!!!!!!

lin 08-23-2007 12:34 PM

That'll be incredible in batiks!!

ButtercreamCakeArtist 08-23-2007 01:41 PM

Tricia~ Did I mention I love this?! I love black fabrics!
btw...no man nipples! :D hahahaha!

sewmuch 08-23-2007 02:08 PM
