Finally finished
 

Only took 10 years. First quilt I ever did. Took a quilt class. Now it doesn't match anything in my house.
But I love it.

Shades of pink and burgundy are my favorite colors, but I wouldn't have thought to put black in with them. VERY PRETTY!

It's beautiful! I stopped trying to match my house years ago. Too may quilts and too much fun.

My first quilt has the same problem, but I love it and probably won't part with it. Maybe eventually we'll live in a home that will have enough room for a guest bed and it can be the topper. lol

What a lovely quilt! To me, quilts should be like changes of clothing -- to match every mood and occasion. So its not possible to be 'wrong' for your home!
