Kathy asked to see it, so here it is.

Many thanks to Patrice for her continued inspiration, to CarlaP for making the name tag for the back, and to Kathy for telling me I am great. *L*

I gave it to her last night.

Sort of random.

I had various combinations of strip sets made up and sort of just pieced them together as the mood hit me. There is no 'chain' but there is a checketboard and a block of solid light blue alternating squares, just to make it interesting.

After I finished the quilting but before putting on the binding I gave it to her to use on her bed here.. Had to wrassle her for it to get it back and complete it.

She likes it I suspect. She is not your ordinary 12 YO but then again, most of them aren't.

Unfortunately, I have been drug down by the 9 to 5 (I wish) all summer. It's been a bit hot to be working in the studio and not much has inspired me. What is currently on the table is an Amish Sunshine and Shadows, a Quilt called 'Entwined' for my younger daughter in blues and purples, finishing my first quilt (the YBR), and getting my Homeward Bound (which most of you haven't seen yet) quilted. I have a quilt that's not going to be done by the middle of October for friends getting married (a Double Irish Chain) and I am sure I have missed something in there. Come the fall I'll get back to my long evenings of quiet and fabric.

My daughter loves her quilt.
