Well, I finally finished the top of my Grandmothers Flower Garden. Now for the hard part...I need to start hand quilting it....I started this quilt the 11th June and finished 9th Aug not to bad I don't think. Any suggestions for a quilting pattern?

Beautiful!!!

Are you doing this by hand or machine? Could you sew along each block 1/4 in. in for the edge, or are you looking for something less time consuming than that? How about a small wave along every other row (that would go along with the change in angle of the little blocks)?

WOW!.. Great job!

I've never attempted this pattern and probably won't. You must be extremely speedy --- AND to think you plan to hand quilt it. You go girl!

A friend machine quilted a GFG quilt going 1/4" in from every other round. I have one in the works and have not figured out my quilting yet, however. I admire those of you who do hand quilting, but it's not for me.

You are a quick quilter. I'm thinking wavy lines also. Maybe in a diamond shape to mimmic your diamonds.

Yes have done it all by hand so far....didn't want to break up the pair so I'm hand quilting it also.....

Thanks for the compliments I appreciate them all.
