I know that I made a very big mistake but when I realized it, it was too late. So, here are the pictures. I should have repeated 3 lines in the pattern on the right side.
This is an overview so that you can see the mistake. This is the back - free motion with my machine first experience. Closer look at the quilt. |

Wow Louise-congrats on finishing your first quilt! Great job :-)

It's great! No mistakes, just artistic license! :D

Everybody is being so indulgent with me but in reality, I just wanted to show to others beginners like me that it's OK to make "mistakes", because we learn more by them than if it was perfect all the time. My beloved little one doesn't mind because already, he loves the dancing Santas everywhere in the red fabric.

Very nice and what a job you did on the quilting.

Loretta, the pattern is a sort of nine-patch and here is the page for the instructions:
http://www.quilterscache.com/S/SnowballNinePatchBlock.html I will send my picture to Marcia so that she can put it in the page as a link. People like to see what is the result of the patterns. |
