Beautiful. Hardest part is keeping it neat.

Love the room. We've been planning on a sewing room in the basement for about 2 years. Hasn't happened yet. Maybe this year...

I was looking at the pics with envy & wanted to ask if the table that your sewing machine sets on was homemade. I am going to utilize my nice laundry room as my sewing room & really liked your sewing table.

Amazing, what a huge amount of fabric and thread you have. :)

yes it is homemade dh made it for me the base is an adjustable old school table we built the top on top of that out of osb that has a white laminate on it (it came that way) we built a frame of 2x4 to put the top on and cut out to drop machine in i did have to put a little something under machine so that it is perfectly even with the table, then i put an iron on laminate edging around table

Nancy, thank you so much for these pictures. They are beautiful and I am happy for you. I am in the process of having my basement done. I was trying to explain to the guy who is going to do the work how you said you did the floor. I have a cement floor and want it done like yours. Is there anyway you or your husband can break it down for me so that I can explain it to him or have him read it on the site. I would appreciate all your help and thank you very much.
