Finished this for my grandson. Hope it stays with him in life. |
That's very nice. It looks like a *guy* quilt. I'm sure he'll love it.

Interestingly Awesome! Perfect for a young man.

Beautifully done.

I have a son who would like your quilt! No, won't be making it for him. :D Just cut one out for him that is called String Theory and it is all columns of flying geese. I will keep your idea for another time. Great pattern. I can see it in greens or pinks or turquoise too.
Just found the pattern by MSQ. Your colors make the difference between stunning and simple and colorful and busy. Wondering if you used a layer cake or cut from yardage? |
Very nice masculine quilt. Your color choices are great. Because of the placement of the colors, I see some real interesting illusion overall that would not be there if every square had the colors placed the same way. Very effective for visual interest.

Great choice of fabrics for a grandson’s quilt...it is definitely one that he can grow old with. Nice job!
You do beautiful work! Great quilt for a guy.
It looks great!
Nice. I like the colors and placement. I may have to put this on my to do list but I will need to be mindful of the colors I used. I like the way yours looks.
Nice quilt- every time I look at it I see different secondary patterns!

Very striking! You did a great job do color placement!
Great minimalist/ abstract quilt. Since gray is the big color in design among millenials, I bet your grandson will display it on his bed for a long time to come.
2 layer cakes. Moda Catnip and Stonehenge Gradations Graphite tiles. I added the gold and gray with circles from yardage to add different geometry. Granite gold and black for the borders with a small stripe for the binding.
Love the fabrics choice and makes a super, great quilt!
A striking quilt. Your grandson is blessed!
I think this is a great “guy” quilt, too. Nicely done!
Very, very nice quilt and love the masculine fabrics and coloring. He will treasure it for sure.
Very nice quilt and one that a male would enjoy although I'm sure many females would be very happy to receive it.
A very nice guy quilt.
You did a great job with those neutrals. You got the values just right. Really nice.

Nice quilt.
It is a wonderful quilt. Perfection, from your "masculine" fabrics to your perfectly picked pattern. I hope your grandson loves it.
It’s very nice and masculine looking!
Oh, how could he not love it!
It's VERY nice. I'm sure your grandson will treasure it all his life. I would, if someone made one for me!
He will love it for a long time! I like the contrast of light and dark.
That is a very nice non frilly, girly type quilt. Good job!
