Both hands in the air here!!! Shoo Fly blocks have always been favorite of mine but don't recall ever seeing a scrappy one like this one. It's wonderful! Will make a lap size like this as soon as I finish my blocks for the Sunny Stars quilt. (Got them half done.) Thanks to Angelia for the advice on that one. Both are beautiful. I keep coming back to this quilt--so beautiful. I'm trying to puzzle out why the circles pop out--I can't seen to find a color/value combination that they have in common to create the illusion. Insight, anyone? I'm hoping to start one soon, whether I understand it or not. :) |
Nifty! The circle illusion is eye-catching, and I like the way the design continues into the border. Scraps are wonderful to play with!
