Bill, I've been all over Canada but have to say my all time fav place is Montreal. I feel like I'm in Europe there :D
But the whole country is beautiful. I still want to go to PEI- hope to get there someday. Tea and scones it is! Yippee !!!!!!!! :D |
Susan,
You will have to come back now that you know a fellow quilter up here.. I am originally from Newfoundland - I hope you have had the chance to make it there as well.... Bill |
Bill, that is a lovely table topper! Is it hand quilted? Tea is my favorite too!
Oh, and are the teapots and cups in panels? |
Susan--I want to visit PEI, too! My friends won't go with me, so let's go sometime!!
I love the teapots! Cute! |
Sharon,
Yes, I decided to do something simple on this one - and did a running stitch around the teapots and cups and around the blocks and sashing.... The 9 blocks are fussy cut from a larger piece of fabric - and then it's just a matter of sashing and borders...it make up really well - and quite easily! Molly, Yep, I love teacups as well..and adore the vintage tea cups and saucers..I have a few in my collection - I think I should start collecting more... |
Beautiful!! I'd love to come for tea. It would be an awful long journey for me!
|
Gayle.....
I won't put the kettle on til you get here :-) |
That's adorable. You put up the kettle and I'll bring the cookies!
|
Hey Red....Cool...done!!! :-)
|
Looks really lovely and beautiful running stitches...I have a passion for tea (but I think it's in the blood, I'm English born). Those scones will need strawberry jam and clotted cream....
