I made these bags for teachers that I work with...a year end gift. I'm excited to give them and spring will soon be in the air here in MN. haha I hope I can wait to give them...June is forever away! I'm a special ed paraprofessional and help out in their classrooms. Do you think I should put a little something in the bags?

Cute bags.....how about putting in a pack of pencils, pens, notebooks, etc that you pick up at the Dollar Store so it will not cost you a lot.

Cute bags, and great idea. As a retired teacher, I can tell you teachers never have enough bags to carry all their "stuff".

Jingle 03-26-2014 04:36 AM

Very cute. Stuff them with Easter candy in individual bags.

GailG 03-26-2014 04:39 AM

Great bags, Crafy-Kid! I always loved nice roomy bags to carry back and forth; can never have enough. It's nice to have one that can be washed! Your co-workers will love them. As a retired teacher, I want to thank you for the job that you do. Paraprofessionals are a valuable asset to the school family.

You took the words right out of my mouth!

Very cute! My mother-in-law taught me you never give someone a purse or bag with nothing in it. A good luck thing I guess. So that's what I always do. I like the idea of school supplies.

sandyfullmer 03-26-2014 09:48 AM

Very cute and useful gifts!

wolph33 03-26-2014 09:54 AM

those are sew cute

needles3thread 03-26-2014 12:22 PM

The bags are a gift-not necessary to put anything inside. (maybe a note of appreciation)

crafty-kid 03-26-2014 04:48 PM

Thanks for the kind words! Fun to make and it will be fun to give too!

retiredteacher09 03-26-2014 04:59 PM

Like GailG, I want to say 'thank you' for making a difference in a child's life especially one with special needs.

I think it would be great to have the students write\draw something for the teacher and put those notes in the bag.

As a former special ed teacher, I can tell you they will love them, because teachers never have enough totes. They are very pretty, and nice colors. Teachers love colorful things around their kids.

My mom used to say you had to add at least a penny,,, its "seed money" for good luck. so their wealth will grow! I love the idea of candy/chocolate and also love the idea of notes from kids. Perhaps tape a coin in a little thank you note explaining why its there.

Nan C 03-27-2014 11:55 AM

I hope you get spring soon too.......love your bags and I bet the teachers will just love them. It is always so special to get something home made. Happy quilting :)

QUILTNMO 03-27-2014 12:00 PM

serenitybygrace 03-27-2014 03:08 PM

Darling bags. I's say, include some chocolate. I am a retired special-ed teacher now working as a para-professional. I would love for someone to give me a bag like these.

bepositive 03-27-2014 03:12 PM

Those are BEAUTIFUL!!! :) I'm a special ed teacher myself! Your colleagues will absolutely LOVE them!!! They're a VERY thoughtful gift!! :) :) :)

ChrisDee 03-28-2014 09:08 AM

Those bags are so cute they speak for themselves. I might add a little card of encouragement. But I wouldn't add anything else. The bags are the gifts and they're perfect.

GrammaNan 03-28-2014 09:13 AM

I love your bags! I think they are perfect the way they are. You have already put so much time and effort in to them that I don't think you need to put anything in them. Good job
