I wouldn't change the skirt. I think it looks good--kind of "grounds" the whole thing.

You did a fantastic job on it. I'm sure Ben loves it. Do you have any scraps left? Wouldn't a couple of individual sailboats hanging above the bed look cute in different colors.

Oh, Sharon girl! I have scraps galore! I am going to make another pillow case and a valance for the window. When we did our remodel, we saved the window out of the room he and his sister shared and put it into his wall. So I have the curtains made out of the yellow and white stripe I used in the quilt. He won't want the old valance though, since it has pink piping and sunflowers with grapes. Too girly!

What a little cuttie , I love the top, and can't wait for it to be done. and I just love the color of blue you used for the boarder. that is the first thing I noticed. God bless.

Keep this photo, you never know. When our Ben was about 4 we have a photo of him on some ship at some naval museum in Buffalo, and now he's in the navy! |
