Stunning quilt. I love Sue Garman's quilts, and you did a masterful job with this one.

Absolutely GORGEOUS! You did a wonderful job and I agree with you about mystery quilts. I always want to see the end result before I start following along. I too do not like mystery quilts. Love your fabric choices and how great that you could use fabrics from your stash.

Wow! That's one amazing and ambitious block of the month pattern! i checked out a book from the library called: Quilters Acadamy Masters Year: https://smile.amazon.com/Quilters-Ac...adamy+masteres It's all about Medallion quilts. I've never done a medallion quilt and am interested in working through the book. Your quilt is such amazing inspiration!

I am happy to have finished piecing this quilt. I don't have time to quilt it now but wanted to share it with other quilters. It was designed by Sue Garman for The Quiltshow.com with Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims. It is called The Halo Medallion Quilt. It was a very well designed pattern. I only changed the width of the final border. It measures 90 inches square. I used fabric from my stash and only had to buy some of the off white background.

I was shocked to see in the Quiltshow Newsletter they posted my quilt and another one in red. I guess we were the first to post because they just gave us the last block pattern December 1st

What a beauty! And, such perfectly beautiful work. This took some time and tenacity. Congratulations on a job well done. You must have an interesting stash...maybe a bit low on taupe and black right now.
