A few weeks ago, I asked for recommendations on how to quilt this miniature: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-149885-1.htm
Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I ended up outlining the striped bars with stitch in the ditch and and securing across the bars every three to five (depending on how many were in each row/column). For the black sashing, I chose a Lead Day design that could be easily modified for the long spaces. I'm very pleased with the way this turned out and I think the swap recipient likes it as well. It was hard to give up. Cheers, K The total quilt Up close quilting & binding The back |

The pattern is an adaptation of a free one from Hoffman - called California Rain - for a full sized quilt: http://www.hoffmanfabrics.com/conten...sp?ImageID=458
