Well I finally finished the Christmas Tablerunner for my DS, DDIL and my 3 grandsons. This was a special request from my DDIL for their table for this coming Christmas.
I had the boys in mind and they were the inspiration for the tablerunner. They are little for such a short time and I wanted to make something fun. I know I displayed this before but I had finished the top and not the quilting, So here it is, there are over 250 snowflakes of varying sizes done in red thread. Finished the binding while I was there. I made my yearly trip to NY to see the family and gave it to them when I got there. Everyone loved it so that made me happy. I told them to take a picture when the decorate for Christmas. Thank you all so much, It was a fun one to do. Your compliments are very special to me because you are all such great quilters in your own right.
Lisa, where do you live upstate? My DS and DDIL live in Long Island and my only sister lives in Ithaca. Boy does it get cold and snowy up there. We are coming into winter here. It does snow here but rarely, Mendoza, Argentina at the foot of the Andes mountains is here for me. |
What a wonderful job you did  All those snow flakes  That was a lot of work !
