Finished & Delivered

1 Attachment(s)
The quilt was finished and sent out in time for Thanksgiving arrival. The special lady who received the quilt was happily surprised and that's what it is all about. I include a two page letter of the "quilt's story" for her and why the fabrics were chosen just for her.

I promised a picture when it was finished.

Here is a link to the free pattern I used for inspiration. I used a layer cake and cut the squares to 9.5" x 9.5" (unfinished) size. The border was 5" finished. I didn't cut the white horizontal sashings pieces. Instead it was one sashing cut lengthwise. I was able to get them sewn so the intersections matched. It may have been easier to cut the individual sashing pieces after all.
