I want to thank all of the Board Members who talked about and posted pictures of their "Downy Quilts for Kids" quilts. I was so encouraged by them, that I actually sent away for a kit and made another one from my stash. They are being mailed back to them today! Thank you so much!

Beautiful Quilts, Wonderful Job!! For your backing do you use regular size fabric or wider fabric! I am trying to decide what fabric to get for my first quilt ever, It will be a king size. Any advice is greatly needed!! Thank you, Shawn :thumbup: :thumbup:

I have never made anything that large...we have a queen size bed and I have always used regular width fabric. DS wants a quilt made for his CA King, but I don't know that I will do it yet...still deciding. But for that I would use a wider width fabric, if I could find a backing I liked.
