Thanks to all for the nice comments. It is fun to think of the original owner/piecer. She did do good work, it was easy to quilt. I was going to keep it for myself but my niece is getting married this spring and I think it would make a good wedding present. She is a quilter so would appreciate it and I know she loves red.
