Did you just sew strips together, then trim them so they would be on point? I love your pattern. And pretty colors. And I have really done a dumb thing by cutting a whole $65 quilt thing into 2-1/2" squares. ARGHHHHHH.

Maybe I can rescue them by making them up into this pattern. OK by you?

These are granny square quilt blocks. I used 2 1/2" squares. There are a few different ways you can make these blocks, you can use a center square and put the same fabric in all the squares around it, then use a different fabric for each round or you can make them scrappy like I did with the last round being a solid color. The block finishes with points and you trim the point of the last round off to make it square and that puts the whole block on point. They are really easy to make, they just take some time. Have fun.
