Well it's done, I'm not thrilled with how it turned out, but there is no time to make another one. I like the colors and the pattern, but my quilting and binding isn't what I would like it to be. I also think the blocks are too big for the 1:12 scale.
I will try again in the future. Here is a close-up (thankfully once it is in a room box, no one will really see it close up) |
It looks gorgeous from here!! Just adorable!

TOO BIG!?!? So how am I supposed to ask how you made the quilt at such a little scale.............. Is there some special way to make patterns lesser
I think it looks great! Granny |
Based on the 1:12 scale, these blocks are almost 2 inches which would make them 24 inches in a normal sized quilt....which is too large. Oh well, I did try! There are people who do make these to a much better scale....it really is amazing!

OHHH my that's soooo cute!
Good job from what I can see! |
Oh Kelly, I think it is just lovely! I love to do minis! Did you have to PP to get the scale?
Blessings. |
Yes it is paper pieced! I couldn't imagine doing it this small any other way!
|
It's beautiful and I'm sure Ken and Barbie will love it!

I like it. If the blocks were smaller you would not be able to see the inset pieces!

Lovely. I really need to start making minatures. I'm running out of room on the walls to hang my full size quilts. LOL!
