I had a very productive evening!! I made this remote control caddy for my dad for Christmas.
I kind of altered a pattern I found online. I think it will work great for him and their house is done in southwest colors so it should match. I'm going to make some of those crisscross coasters to match. the colors in the second photo are a little closer to what it really looks like. It is amazing how different the colors can be from the original! |
great job, thanks for sharing

So cute ... now if Dad only remembers where the caddy is!

Nice!
|
Great idea....my Dad could use one!

I love that print. I used some in a SW quilt i made my daughter when they moved to Oklahoma.
|
That looks great!
|
I need to make one of those, too.

Love it! How does it keep from falling off the arm of the chair? The colors are great. You are very clever!

I'll have to ask my mom. She uses them. |
you can still buy those pins. They sell them at Auto Zone or O'Reillys. They are head liner pins. :)

I love it! What a great gift :D:D:D
Some are made with a long side that tucks in between the arm and the seat. There is an area at the very bottom that is stuffed with fiber fill. This tucks in nicely into that space, keeping it from pulling out :D:D:D |
good job. I need to make one like this so I can add my scissors, pen, schedule., to it. Like what you did. So, you added another piece behind the pockets to create larger pockets?
