Absolutely gorgeous!!! (BOTH of them)

I love the colors, design and quilting...it's just breath taking. I was laughing when you said lint because when I saw the cat I was thinking OMG...the cat hairs will out number the lint. I have a kitty that looks a lot like that except he has some black and he leaves fuzzies everywhere.

If you ever want to part with either of them...I think you can find quick homes here :)

Wow! Awe-inspiring!!! Love the colours, the pattern, the quilting.

Well, when I got it from the sewing room to sew on the binding, it was covered with white cat hair- OMG!!! It took an entire lint roller to get 90% of it off. Then I washed it twice. She had been sleeping on it for weeks- I threw it in the corner on the floor when I moved some things around and she just decided it was for her. She's not speaking to me now- I took away her bed.
Poor kitty. There's always another quilt.

Apparently- I have seen this in books, you can strip piece it and cut the diamonds all at once. No bias edges that way. Maybe next time.
And thank you for your lovely comments.
