Nice quilt so far. Please show us after it has borders. I made the quilt that's my avatar for my husband, also a firefighter. It's a quilt made with fire patches from different departments that he has collected throughout his career.He retired last year after 35 1/2 years of fire service. He retired as the fire chief.

DH is also a volunteer FF - has been for about 30 years now. As well as volunteer EMT. Nice quilt you are doing and I'm sure it will be appreciated by it's intended recipient.

I have a whole herd of men who would love this quilt! All are volunteer firefighters!
