First 5 rows of my DJ done!
 

I've had a lot of trouble staying motivated on my Dear Jane quilt, so I decided to QAYG. It's so exciting to see it coming together!

I have the first 5 rows of my Dear Jane all finished! When I started, I didn't realize it was TATW, so mine is all random scrappiness. I have hand pieced and hand quilted. I have the top row of triangles completed, and am thinking I will attach those before moving on to the next row.

In total, I have 103 blocks, 32 triangles, and 2 of the corners done.

what is a TATW? Your quilt is beautiful.... I did mine as a quilt as you go, and it is reversible too. fun project.

Ok, now I get it......I ignored the TATW too. Mine is all blue and white.

I found the picture of When Jane was Blue, and I am in awe. It is a stunning variation!

I also did not realize that Miss Jane had arranged her blocks in a TAWT color arrangement either.

I am in awe! I would never tire of looking at these beautiful blocks. Please don't forget to make a label. This will be an heirloom for sure!

Your work is spectacular! The TATW is hard to see in the original since so many of the fabrics have faded in different ways. But that color arrangement is totally optional and I've seen so many of these quilts in different color ways. I love the scrappiness of yours. And how smart to QAYG - when you're done with the blocks, you're done with the quilt!
