I just loved this pattern she was so different. Her name is Fancy Suzie. by Bea Yurkerwich. I have never appliqued before and I thought it was going to be hard. Then one of my quilt friends told me to use used dryer sheets on the pieces. Just sew right sides together leave a little opening and turn. Press and you are ready to applique your pieces to the blocks with the edges already turned under.

What a lovely quilt. I have not seen this one before. It is so pretty and you did a GREAT job.

Great job. I've done it that way before and it sure is so much easier. I usually sew all the way around then make a slit in the back and turn. The quilt is beautiful.

that is really pretty - I have used nappy liners with the same result - have to be careful which ones though!!!

what a great idea, I am getting ready to start a big applique project (baby quilt) and I am going to try this method. By the way the quilt is beautiful
