This is the first quilt I've totally quilted. Not really quilted, I did a fancy stitch on my new machine. I'm really excited as I like the way it looks.

Here it is ... (still like the binding) ...

Here's a picture of the back ... along with a question ...

Do you think that binding would look okay? I want to put some cream/light biege to even out the blue ... or would a light blue be better? I think it will be harder to match the blues which is why I was going to go with this binding.

Thanks!

EDIT: Front is cotton and the back is a flannel.

Cute quilt and stitching! The cream binding should look great.

Great job. I like the stitching. And I think that the beige would be fine.

I think the cream would be just fine. What cute material! You did a good job.

Very nice.

That's one of my favorite stitches to use for quilting baby quilts. Using the wiggly stitch is quilting since it went through all 3 layers. :D
I think a light blue would look good for the binding.

You did a great job on the quilt and quilting. If you can't find blue binding to match, then use the cream.

I'm not sorry to inform you of this, but you did totally quilt it. Just because you used fancy stitches on your machine does not mean you did not quilt it.

You did a beautiful job! And a stitch like that really secures the seams. A baby quilt gets washed a lot! I know my kids did.
