How's your Ducky doing I love all your avatar pics of him - it is a he I assume LOL. Well the NT Applique technique I taught myself from watching You Tube etc. I did ask another member here on the board whom I am good friends with too - she guided me also. Maybe you could go to your Library & see if there are any books there. Our Libraries are always well behind the times they drive me crazy.
