Finally tackled the bag I have admired on this board for so long. Although it took me a while, once I understood the directions the process was pretty easy. I am sure my daughters will be receiving one for the holidays!

Thanks everyone for your great inspiration!

Beautiful fabric and you did a wonderful job! I wouldn't have known it was your first one if you wouldn't have mentioned it. :)

I am wanting to get that pattern and do some. Is that the mini or the regular size. I don't know which pattern to buy.

This is the regular size. I found the pattern on Amazon for $7.99. Good luck ... it is a great bag and not difficult to make.

I read the directions and it seemed confusing to me, I will have to re read them again and give it a try!

Some sections didn't seem to make sense until I had the bag in front of me. Please just PM me if you want some help.

I have both of the patterns, and like the mini the best for a handbag. The regular size was to big for my liking, but would make a great diaper bag.

Very nice, love the fabrics!! I had to reread the instructions when I was making the first one, I like pictures with written instructions. It seems to help me to compare what I'm doing to the pattern.
