Oh quiltymama...what a fantastic job! I see you left off the horns. Did you straight line vertically quilt it...hard to tell in the pic.
I'm in the process of making this except I want mine to look more like a dairy (Guernsey) cow without horns, so I have lots of caramel golden colors cut just waiting to be steam a seamed. I have a couple of old dairy feed sacks that I plan on using for the background, too. Hopefully get at that project next week. Thanks so much for sharing!

Oksewglad, wow yours sounds so cool. I love the idea of the dairy feed bags! Can’t wait to see it! I quilted straight lines vertically and then horizontally to make sure most of the little pieces of fabric were caught somewhere beneath a stitch.

The shop sample I saw when I purchased the pattern had just close vertical stitching for that reason, too.
