As a new quilter, I am a bit nervous to post my pics alongside the fabulous ones that inspire me on this website.
Anyway, I started with just hand-sewing so the purple quilt (for one of my grand-daughters) is entirely made by hand. The design is called 'Bric-a-Brac Quilt' from a book called 'Jelly Roll Quilts' by Kathy Brown. The baby quilt is partly hand-sewn and partly made using my ancient Singer machine. I made up the design when I came across a piece of the hot air balloon fabric in a sale. I really enjoyed making these quilts and am already getting on with my next ones. Thanks to all of you experienced quilters who help us newer people so much. Great Job!
So how is the excitement level in England right now. I am sitting here watching the Royal Wedding on TV. Thanks, Sherryl Candlequilter |
Thanks for that. I doubt you will find many people very far from a tv today! We are all hoping that this is a 'real' match and that it lasts. Best wishes,

I am loving your first quilts! The purple is so special knowing it is all hand created! The balloons are so cheery, too!
