Is that a dulcimer you are playing? I've been to two dulcimer festivals....great fun! Wonderful quilt, by the way! I love the colors!

Nice combination of colours - gives me an idea for suitable border for my braid quilt. Many thanks.

Yes, i do believe it is. I am a "real beginner" and I just took it slow. Picking the fabrics I liked took longer (smile) and I crossed my fingers as I made the first braid.

My SIL is the experienced sewer (albeit new to quilting) and her borders are absolutely incredible. Check out these pillow shams she "whipped up" to send along. She is awesome.

Wow....this is on my to do list, got the fabric for it already and everything...This one is a beauty!! Nice work!!

I love your quilt. The colors are so beautiful together and I also love the theme. I am also from Iowa and grew up on a farm there, but living in CA. My heart will always be in IA., so farm themes always tug my heart. The colors you used and the farm theme all blend so perfectly together. I still have a French Braid quilt on my ''to do" list, so this is very inspirational. Thank you for sharing this.
