The crosses are all pieced. I pieced the log cabin pieces and then added the longer purple strips when I sewed the blocks together so the crowd down was one strip. Sid around entire purple portion of cross so it appears as one piece. I found a pattern on Pinterest and then just scaled the sizes down. It took several tries and still not completely pleases with cross ratio dimensions but I can leave with it ans Ashley will not known the difference!
