First Panel
 

Thanks in advance for looking. I was recently gifted some fabric from a friend of mine. I'd never worked on a panel before. Not sure who I will gift this to. My little cousin is pregnant, due in April. My daughter is pregnant and due in May. I have a bit more quilting to do on it. Haven't quite decided on the binding. It's been quick and fun for sure!!

It’s a cute panel. Love the bright colors, too. I love working with panels. So much can be done with them. Whoever gets it should be pleased.

I have not done a panel in more than 30 years and this one it a tempting one to start doing a panel again. This looks like so much fun. I love this one! You are doing a great job on it. It sounds like it will be a coin toss to see who gets this winner of a baby quilt. Thanks for sharing.

Does anyone have experience with using a panel with a window frame? I've seen those sell well at auctions. What sizes do you make? Do you have any tips for this newbie? I have the dahlia panel and I think 4 more Christmas ones. Just bought the pattern from Quilt Woman. Do you think wall hanging or bed sized quilts??

It's not a real window, just fabric sewn to look like a framed picture in a window.

I love doing panels, there are so many cute ones out there, especially for babies.

Love how your panel quilt turned out. Thankfully panels are no longer snubbed by so many quilters. Years ago I was told by a guild member that wasn't a quilt & maybe I didn't belong in that particular guild.
