omg i wish i was to this point!! i've been attempting this the whole day. i'm ready to give up.
|
It's not bad. I agree with the above comments. Dont let this patten discourage you from pp. there have been multple posts regarding the difficulty of this block. Pp is an easy process in general.
|
Not bad for your first attempt at P/P. I have been P/P for years and would not have suggested it for a first project.
I really encourage you to find a simpler block , I think you will smile alot more. |
Starch it, square it and that baby will look fab!! I would be proud to have it in one of my quilts!! :)
Cheers! Rachel |
Im glad you all like it, it looks better in the picture believe me
I think I need to take it apart into four sections and square it there, then sew it back, Im just afraid I will ruin the middle star, or stretch the whole thing... must tread lightly! you cant tell from the pic but there are two different prints on the cream because I didnt know how much fabric PP takes, and a couple of the cream are upsidedown, it is hard to keep track with all of the turning and flipping involved with PP  |
Looks good to me, very pretty. Just looks like it needs to be squared up, however you want to do it.
|
i have one quarter of a square and mine is a little puckered too....and i thought i had done enough paper piecing beforehand to handle it. i think with this project the paper you use does matter. oi. think i'm gonna go have at it again. yours really does look nice :)

Very pretty.

It did turn out better than I thought it would, but I dont feel it is good enough to pass on to Candlequilter I dont even know where to begin on fixing it, I dont want to make it worse. what do you think? Tommie |
I think you did a wonderful job on this block! You wouldn't know it is your first time :D:D:D
