First project with my 160 Singer
 

I'm very impressed with this new Singer. It seems like a really strong machine I made this pad for the table I put it on. I hope that everyone else feels the same way I do. Tomorrow I will make the cover for her.

Very cool pad.....your Singer 160 is sweet! I have a featherweight and love it for piecing.

OMG, I must be lost somewhere I have never seen that machine nor have I heard of it. She is absolutely beautiful!! I see that she has alot of stitches like any other machine but are you able to FMQ on her? Is she a lightweight machine or heavy. I absolutely love it, seriously salivating can you tell! Do you mind me asking where you found her, as I said have never seen one. Is that the new featherweight?

This is the 160th Anniversary Singer I got her from HSN but was told a while back that they were going to sell them at Walmart sometime in the spring. Yes you can FMQ with her...she weights about 18 lbs....very happy with this machine.

The fabric I used matches the Arrow Sewing Chair...I got it at Hobby Lobby...

Your Singer is so beautiful! I have never seen one like it. The pad with pockets is perfect and I am going to make one. It will be especially handy when I go to my quilting group. Thanks for sharing.

How sweet is this:thumbup:...I was thinking about getting this machine, had it in my shopping cart, and then changed my mind:(. I just don't have the room for it, and it would be a shame to keep in in the closet.

You did a great job on the pad.... I made one just like that, but mine has little cows all over it!

I Ve had mine over a month got from Hsn son bought it. Hsn is supposed to be the only place to get it until its released to public then they don't get extras we do!!! Not sure how I feel about it the one time I used it its LOUD and clunky sounding,a couple friends said same thing!!!!
