Your DH did a great job on his first of (I'm sure) many to come. My Dad loved to sew the pieces together and then hand quilt them. My DH loves to shop for fabrics with me and he's more agressive in blending prints and colors - sweet because it's not my thing - I'm alot more conservative. Men certainly have a different look at things then us gals, I believe. And in our guild we have a few men that have joined us and they have helped others step out of their box. I love to sew, which I find very relaxing after a busy day at work and my DH has taken up cutting for me, which speeds me along to new projects - yeah but he has admitted that he doesn't care for the sewing part as much as I do! I also can't wait till I retire and have "more time" with DH in our gardening, hiking, camping and now working on projects together. Those that are retired give me hope for a wonderful retirement or as I call it "the next chapter in our lives".

Oh, how nice to have an in-house quilting buddy. Could result in some great shopping trips too!

He did a great job! I've been quilting for a few years now and I still haven't tried paper piecing!
