This is for Kendall, my niece. Kendall's Mom (on the board) pieced it for Kendall's 4th birthday. The quilt is for her new, twin size, big girl bed. It's my first quilt on the longarm. Sorry for the poor cell phone picture, but I couldn't wait to post it! Thanks for looking!

I like being able to do my whole quilt from start to finish, and with my long arm I can make more quilts. I'm excited for you. You are going to enjoy that machine. It looks like you did a very good job on that quilt and you will get better as you go.

Thanks! It is the Artistic by Janome. The batting is 80/20 cotton/poly. I've forgotten what brand but it came from Joann's.

Fortunately, my sis-in-law has a pile of quilt tops she's made in the past year, so I think I'll be busy with the long arm in the next two months, finishing her quilts for her family's Christmas presents.

And, my mom is back to sewing after many years away from it, so hopefully she'll keep me busy quilting too! And, there's a couple of projects I want to make. My sis-in-law is great about helping me out with the cutting and piecing when life is busy and there's a deadline looming. :)
