those are really nice. It's like giving a bit of yourself.

Yes Ruth your statement is so true. I like you have been sewing for many years makeing mostly clothes (made three dresses for christmas) and as of late learning to quilt. What a wonderful world, the art of Quilting. Take care happy quilting.

sewsweet, I see your old Singer in the corner, looks just like mine. It was my mom's, that's what I learned to sew on and she gave it to me when I grew up. My father-in-law who will be 90 Sat. has his mother's, it has three drawers on each side. I'm the only one in the family who sews so I sure hope I'm the one who ends up with it. Oh, by the way, nice quilts and dress.

I got that machine bartering fifteen years ago, it'is a Model 127 made 8/22/1916 in Elizbeath NJ, the good thing about it is, it works.
I hope you end up with the other one, what a precious treasure that would be. |
Sewsweet I was just into the pics forum. Did you know that your name is in there twice on the last page of the lists but, whatever you were posting apparently didn't make it. The topic portions of the two spots are empty. Nothing there to click on to. Thought you'd like to know, if you're not already aware of the situation. :-) I'd love to see your pics if you have some!

Whew!! I thought I was the only one not getting anything. And after reading the comments, I was sure I was nuts.

It's a mystery to me too! I have no idea what happened or where they went. I will look into it tomorrow.

Thanks for doing that, I actually thought there was a bug running loose stealing pictures. LOL

Wow Sewsweet! I am in awe! I have Christmas projects from years past that still aren't finished and you finished, what? 5 quilts? WOW again! LOL
My Mom & sisters sewed clothes, but those kinds of patterns give me such stress - I truly bow to your seamtressness  sue |
You must have enough energy to power a lighthouse! And you are very talented.

Nice. I really like the table runner. is that appliqued (the flowers) or solid or pieced? Hard to tell in the pics. Everything is lovely. You've really been busy.

You have a Main print. Inner border & binding Outer border. It was kind of easy, until I got to the binding, being new to quilting I had to take time to learn to tuck them in. The other side had snowflakes so after X-mes my mother-in-law turned it over, and it looked just as good. There was an other on called One Little Star. I made that one too, but it had an oops, I will post just no laughing, well no more than I did. I keept it for me. |

Oh, girl, you do wonderful work!
Now the "oops" as you call it, what's wrong? I found it to be beautiful. Are you just not showing us what went wrong? lol lol 5 quilts for Christmas? Oh, no nonono not me. I don't do pressure anymore. The wedding last week was the last of the pressure, no more of it!! You can send me 'oops' anytime! Sharon |
I think its very pretty. Is it an oops because two of the triangles face opposite of the other two? Doesn't come off as an oops. just a pattern variation.
