I made this quilt for my girlfriend in Las Vegas.
This is the first time that I free motion quilted, I did it on a 1915 Singer. Thank you for looking.

Amazing! I have never FMQ'd yet, but I had no idea you could do it on the older machines. The quilt is beautiful!

Oh, the vintage machines are the best for FMQ! I quilted 2 baby quilts this weekend on mine! You did great! I love your quilt. What is the pattern you used? Stack n Whack?

So if I understand correctly, you have to have a different feet for FMQ? Just a beginner.

Yes. For free motion quilting you put on a darning foot and lower the feed dogs. Then you move the quilt around. You can also quilt using a walking foot and don't lower the feed dogs. This method is good for straight line quilting. But I also use it to follow a design. It is slower, but I have more control. And, this is the exact place to ask all the questions you have:-) We love sharing.

Beautiful quilt! I love the picture of the machine and quilt together, very pretty.

OK I am impressed. Did it let you lower the feeddogs.

Congrats on the freemotion. The more you do the easier it becomes mainly because you relax.

I have both of those that came with my machine, I'll going to try it when I get home this evening.
